A Swedish Fika Experience – Bake Swedish Semla with Kristina by the Sea

Welcome to a unique and cozy baking experience just outside Luleå in the countryside, where you’re invited into my everyday life in the heart of Swedish Lapland.

Step into our warm, inviting house with stunning sea views, and discover the magic of Swedish "fika" culture.

Together, we’ll bake traditional Swedish Semla—just like the locals do. You’ll learn old family recipes, the stories behind them, and the cultural traditions that make Swedish fika so special.

As we bake, I’ll share what it’s like living here in the north, give you tips on local activities, and tell you about the rhythm of life in this beautiful part of Sweden.

When the Semla are ready, we’ll sit down for a real fika— enjoying your warm homemade Semla with traditional boiled coffee or tea, either outside or indoors with a sea view, depending on the weather.

The rest of your Semla are yours to take home and share!

Details:

• Location: Just 15–20 minutes by car from Luleå city, or take the bus (only a 5-minute walk from the nearest stop).

• Duration: A few cozy hours in our countryside house.

• Available as an open or private baking workshop.

• Great for couples, friends, families, or small groups.

• You'll also get local tips and a glimpse into life here in Swedish Lapland.

Privet baking workshop

Price; 5580 SEK (for up to 4 person) Your group are the only participants, the price is for Monday to Friday the time that suits you.
